Artist bio

     Hasti Rayramesh is an Electic painter currently living in Toronto, Canada. Born in 2001 and raised in Tehran, Iran where she was first inspired by her homelands rich art and culture to become an artist. Her main inspiration for most of her pieces, are the human emotions we all struggle with.

     The self taught artist first began painting as a means of dealing with such mental struggles in the form of self expression, creating a sense of gloom and darkness in her art. She works with different medium including digital art as her main method of painting is oil on canvas. Hasti began self-education on oil painting in 2016 while attending an art high-school in Tehran, later on she began learning oil painting under Hooman Derakhshandeh. In February 2022 her paintings from the series “Mania” were showcased by the scarborougharts. The goal of her work is giving her art the ability to tap in the viewers emotions and allow them to experience a sense empathy and understanding of what the painting is feeling, to achieve a personal level of connection with her viewers.
